The weather thankfully held up brilliantly as the onset of winter stayed away thankfully for the start of the season. Congratulations to Dan Kiely on his first major win in the club with his Overall Nett success.

Flesk Restaurant Summer Series:
Our thanks to the Flesk Restaurant for their hospitality last Friday night as the prizewinners from this summer’s event were treating to a meal and presented with prizes.

Christmas Turkeys:
From the summer we now move straight to our winter tradition with the beginning of the Christmas Turkeys (sponsored by Tim Jones Butchers) this Sunday (Nov 8th). Entry €5 per player with draws at 9am and 10.45am each week. Players will start off their official Pitch & Putt Ireland Handicap as of Thursday November 5th as further details will be given to Members prior to the start of play.
Pre-Christmas Gathering:
As announced last week the annual
pre-Christmas get together in Murphy’s Bar will take place on Friday December
11th this year. Presentations on the night include following:
(i) Club Strokeplay
(ii) Adult Christmas Hamper
(iii) Club Matchplay
(iv) Club Player of the Year
(v) Club Person of the Year
and a number of other presentations will be made on the night.
